Davey Fairclough has found something extremely amusing about the back of Ray Kennedy's head. And don't you reckon someone could of give Roy Evans a box or something to stand on.

The contrast in expressions between him and Brucie

And why is Dean Saunders the Roma keeper and a very young Lionel Blaire the linesman?

And Bruce behind him looks as though he is about to walk out on stage at the Apollo.

i will never forget Dave Fairclough's goal against Everton leaving a shower of blue shirts on the ground and as for Ray kennedy has any player since been as graceful and yet deadly in his movement.

      Loved Ray Kennedy

Remember that goal he scored (can't remember the team) and everyone, commentator and all were asking was it a cross or a shot. Or something like that. He was out on the left wing though, I remember that

      Good times :)

I was in work, on a late shift.  Working with a manc to boot! She was over the moon at half-time, but alas, I went home the happier.

Considering he's always remembered for that goal at St Ettienne, rightfully so as well, he did score some belters. That Derby day goal is one of them.

If not, it's bloody close. Different game now, but this lot could have easily coped with the pansy's we have now.

I think for a four man midfield it probably is as good as we've had.

Thinking of alternatives, Houghton, McMahon, Molby, Barnes is the only one I think would run it close?

As they say on the rugby field thats one hell of a boiler house , sometimes looking back at these you realise just how spoilt we have been , its little wonder some of us lose our napper when  you see some in midfield today trotting around like their on a jolly , that four there would have competed with any that have been.
