      Bump.

Some Wrigley's Doublemint chewing gum.  Found in the back of a draw.

      No date on packaging.

Hmmm, if it's 'longer lasting', obviously you'll have no trouble with it.

Technically you don't eat Chewing Gum so would it matter if it was out of date, if it goes out of date :-\

Oh it does though. My Dad bought me a big pile of packs of that Trident stuff but it was nearly out of date. I had a week to eat about 30 packs. Obviously I couldn't do it and they were OK for a couple of months, but then one day...potassium chloride.

Had a go.  Didn't taste good.  Definitely didn't blow any bubbles. Lacked the ability to absorb moisture.

How long did the 999 dispatcher say the ambulance would take?

Seriously, if you start frothing at the mouth and getting really mad and biting things...it's OK, it's rabies, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the out-of-date chewing gum.

Hang on, I'll be back in a minute. I just need to go and score some LSD to continue that conversation.

BOT: I'm a bugger for throwing things out after they've sat in the fridge for two days. I've got a yoghurt in the fridge with one minute of it's best by date on it. That'll be getting binned tomorrow. I bought some fresh broccoli the other day and put it in the drawer in the bottom of the fridge and then when I got it out the following day a bit of it had fuzzy white stuff on it that looked like mould to me. I was not very happy. I didn't bin it all though. Most of it was alright.

      Bottle of bubbly.

Been in the fridge two years. Hope it's okay cos I've already poured myself a drink of it. Just interest in people's thoughts on 2 year in fridge sparkiling alcohol?

In the fridge 2 years. That case im guessing it's fairly cold.

Doesn't that sort of thing get better with age anyway?
