Watching Deliverance, great film though not one of my favourites.

Anyway, it's the guitar duel bit, a classic film moment, love it! :D It really kicks off from about 2m30s, great line at the end when he says "I'm lost!" and starts laughing!

Awesome, get a load of this:

Once Upon A Time in America's soundtrack is beautiful.

And so are all the others made by the great Ennio Morricone, especially those made for the Sergio Leone's movies.

A special mention to Cinema Paradiso too, touching movie and music.

Anything from Quentin Tarantino movies, but the best was Reservoir Dogs. Killer soundtrack that, i love the dialogue of the K-Billy super sounds of the 70's mixed in throughout the CD to :D Little Green Bag, Coconut, Magic Carpet Ride all so good.

And Stuck in the Middle With You has a whole new meaning after watching that movie :D

I've got to go back to DLS's original post and say "This Is England". Fantastic..except of course the Strawberry Switchblade and Soft Cell.

At the time I really liked the "Singles" soundtrack.

Also, "Control". Great movie, too. One of the best music bios I've ever seen. On that note, "24 Hour Party People" was good, too.

EDIT: (Here's where I lose all street cred...) with the exception of one or two songs I really liked the "Once" soundtrack.

I love orchestrated soundtracks, such as The Great Escape and Sergio Leone's westerns.

Like The Bridge on the River Kwai theme

The Bridge on the River Kwai Theme

This is a very beautiful song, from the intro of a great film, Raging Bull

And this song from Requiem for a Dream is capable of making anything sound Epic. Haha! I love it.

Dunno if that loses cred mate! I actually haven't seen the film, but me and Laura saw that band live in Eugene last November and they were brilliant. Beautiful music.

Loved the movie Once too actually, and the soundtrack as well, though it's probably hard to just like one and not the other.

Kind of the same as me then, she came up with the movie. Once is the kind of movie you should watch with your missus. Not all guys will like it I'm sure.
