  Robbie Keane starts against his former club as Rafael Benitez makes just one change from the side that faced Chelsea for this evening's top versus bottom clash with Spurs at White Hart Lane.
 
Andrea Dossena is the player who comes into the side in place of Fabio Aurelio at left-back as the Reds revert to a similar line-up to the one that ended Luiz Felipe Scolari's side's unbeaten home run.
 
The Liverpool team in full: Reina, Arbeloa, Dossena, Agger, Carragher, Alonso, Mascherano, Riera, Kuyt, Gerrard, Keane.

Subs: Cavalieri, Hyypia, Benayoun, Aurelio, Babel, Lucas, El Zhar.

Decent line up. Nice bit of width, let's test their keeper today.

Surprised Torres isn't on the bench. But we have proved we can win without him, spurs might have their chins up at the minute, but make no mistake that their defence is sh*te. I agree with the line-up Rafa has put out, although I would like to see Kuyt start up top with Keane, but hopefully as the game goes on we will go into a more attacking formation.

I can see Keane scoring today. Always seems to happen dosent it ?

Nice proffesional performance from the Redmen. I reckon 2-0 with goals by way of Keane and Gerrard.

Gomes is a dodgy keeper, lets have gerrard smashing them from left, right and centre, maybe even have alonso going from his own half

I thought Nando would have been on the bench  Maybe he's not ready and Rafa doesn't want to risk him.

Either way, that team is more than good enough to brush Tottenham aside.

Babel is sure to come on..........super sub will run rings round their deflated defence in the latter part of the second half.

What's that got to do with anything?  Our last league match was on Wednesday - and he's made FIVE changes.  Why not just say - no changes from the team that played Wigan a fortnight ago? FFS.

Dossena in for Aurelio (hmm)
Agger in for Hyypia (Hyypia didn't put a foot wrong on Wed - had our best chance and helped win our penalty) - should have give Carra a break in my opinion.
Keane in for Pennant (fair dos)


Riera in for Babel (yep - we'll have that).
Mascherano in for Lucas (Lucas had a decent game but Javier's a class apart from him)

Need at least a point to go back top of the league.  But we should get three points against these - Harry Redknapp or not.  He's not out there playing.

If we are good on the counter attack today we could easily put 3 or 4 away, Redknapp has his team going all out offense to help get their confidence up. Should be a great match, hopefully Keane can put a brace or hat trick in
