Christmas lights on houses

Well it's starting to get closer so have you started to put any light's up yet.

Thought I'd bring it back into the light.

Not putting my Christmas Lights/Tree up till 12th December, I've just come in though and seen quite a few up already.

Seen two houses so far - which isn't bad come to think of it.

Imo whatever floats yer boat .the retail sector has already started Christmas,sowhy not individuals.My deccies will go up on Christmas eve and come down on 12th night.

There is a council estate in Merthyr Tydfil called the Gurnos, past there yesterday and counted 12 houses with lights up , sad people.

That house on the way into Cardiff just the other side of the Gabalfa is on. I think they get sponsored though.

My Christmas decorations usually go up about 2-3 weeks before Christmas, any earlier is too early IMO.

Tomorrow Christmas lights go on in the town,all shops open till late and I.ve got to cater for hundreds wanting mulled wine and hot turkey baguettes.Ffs stay at home and put your'e own deccies up.

I always go on a downer coming up to christmas and moan and be grumpy. But I was thinking today: Maybe that's because of the dark nights. Maybe it's coming out of working a sh*t job all day into darkness after being used to lighter nights. I wa wa wa wa wonder.

EDIT: I still won't be putting lights on or in my house though. Christmas lights that is.
