:f_steam:  Another media bullshit from the worst gossip website but I could not resist not to post it 'cos we could make a laugh. although if we swap benayoun with elano is not a problem but with darby involved in it, it is a stupid media pooo.

Liverpool to offer Benayoun, Darby for Man City's unhappy Elano
      23.11.08 | aloadofw**k.com

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is chasing Manchester City midfielder Elano.

The News of the World says Liverpool are ready to offer Yossi Benayoun to City in a swap for unhappy Brazilian Elano.

City value their Brazilian attacking midfielder slightly higher than the 28-year-old Benayoun and would want a cash or player makeweight.

It's understood Liverpool might be willing to throw 20-year-old left- back Stephen Darby into the deal.

       :lmao:  :lmao:  ;D  :D

What the F**k are you doing quoting the little sister of that sh*t rag the S*n? And to top it off, Darby is a right back, not left back.

In a totally unrelated subject, Elano hit an absolute belter against Portugal.

This could be a good deal, if its a swap, and we dont throw Darby in on the deal.

I like Elano, he is a class player.

I agree with you, instead of putting Darby in as part of the deal we should just give them a few million ;D. Sell pennant and then we can get Elano :) Elano would be a quality signing. Havent got a clue why he joined City.

Just means we won't have to rely on Gerrard too much.

Elano would be a good signing I think, he could play anywhere in the 5 man midfield, or anywhere in a four man midfield if we played 4-4-2. He would be a good back-up aswell, especially if we swapped him for Pennant + couple of mil.

I just wonder if he'd actually come to us seeing as City can offer him far more money to help his 'unhappiness'?

I haven't seen or heard anything about Elano wanting to leave City so where has this info come from?

      I thought that too.

      Better than Pennant?  Yes.
Better than Kuyt or Babel? Not sure.

      3) Ebanks-Blake from Wolves, scores for fun in the Championship. If we're lookin for a bench player then he'd be the perfect foil, providin we don't mind an ex United player on our books. Would be relatively cheap.

Got himself on the score sheet again for the Championship leaders to take his tally for the season to 12.

think he'd have what it takes to play at the highest level?

Lennon has been impressive lately but no one will move Riera and Kuyt, we dont need anyone in midfield. Its the one position where we wont improve significantly without spending a tonne of money.

Add Wayne Bridge to my wishlist. Excellent defensively and makes some great surges down the left flank. If only Big Phil's kind words about Rafa before will be a good sign that he will sell to us.

If buying from Italy wasnt so risky, i'd try and buy Liechsteiner from Lazio. Excellent both defensively and offensively. I think he is a right back though but Arby shifts to the left.

I wouldn't want Arby shifted to the left. It's okay if he plays 2-3 games there but not a whole season.

I rate Wayne Bridge as well but he wouldn't leave Stamford Bridge. They have the same name :o

Drogba is looking unsettled at the chavs , and Moriniho not looking like he is going to see his contract out at Inter the Drog could be tempted by anyone just to get out .
Now before you start biteing my head off im not saying i would or wouldnt have him im not sure just interested in your opinion

I wouldn't take Drogba, I don't like him but he's a decent player. He's been terrible this year though, was Chelsea's gem/talisman now can't break into the team. Bridge won't leave either but he would be al;right.

Drogba as much as rate him i dont think his attitude is right if he not getting his own way and things are not going his way he starts to winge and goes out of a game completely.I dont think he would fit into the Anfield set up.

In my opinion yes he does, but he wouldn't be a starter at Anfield. He'd be playing second fiddle but again in my opinion I'd rather see Ebanks-Blake come off the bench than Ngog.

      I'd take him for £2M. That's peanuts.

Although i'd rather be looking at other positions that need covering. Full backs, maybe? Although I'd rather see Insua and Darby break into the first team.
      Wouldn't mind Afellay, though.
