The media loves an overreaction. Milder version of the flu, yes it may spread and cause some disruption because there's currently no vaccination, but all this talk of pandemic and shutting the world down is way overblown. It's not going to affect our title march nor should it.

Progression in the FA Cup brings the required points total down because the 4th game is then against City and a point there would win us the League. The most points they'd be able to achieve should we, at least, draw with them at Maine Rd is 88. Three wins and a draw at Maine Rd would take us to 89 with seven games left.

Should we beat Chelsea in the Cup and progress to the next round then the Palace game (the game we can currently win the League) will be rearranged due to the next round of FA Cup games. Therefore the next League game would be City, not Palace.

nah mate its not good enough for certain posters. it pisses me off no end when you see that 14 month 44 game unbeaten run just for some nomark to dismiss it because we had a bad day at the office and the Manager got everything wrong.

who has done that then? I agree that anyone not immensely proud of the 44 game unbeaten run is a complete idiot, its is absolutely sensational, and in my opinion is much more impressive than Arsenal's 49 as we had far fewer draws in that our run and had more competitive teams to play as I think the overall strength of the Prem is much higher now than it was in 2003/04

Not a chance, all we need is to win 4 of the last 10, 3 if we can draw with City, and surely we'll beat Bournemouth on Saturday, if not then I really will start to worry a bit.

In all seriousness despite losing tonight we played much better than against Watford, except the last 25 minutes where we got a bit desperate and lost our composure.
