UEFA Knockout Draw 2008/9

I'd seriously take anybody but Internazionale. They suck

All I will say is we've done the Inter Milan thing, we've played Villarreal already in a friendly and we've only just got back from Madrid.

So either of the other two - for purely visiting purposes.

If we want an easy game, never thought I'd say this, but Real Madrid.

You can just see us getting Real Madrid can't you.

Rafa and Torres would be all over that!

Can see a positive in if we were to play Madrid already........Mohamadou Diarra wont be in their team due to injury.

R. Madrid would be too easy of a win right now... i think it would kill a little of the sweetness to beat them when they are sooooo bad that Juande Ramos looks like a good bail out strategy

i'd take inter as it would be a great set of games to watch

I want Real Madrid, solely for the fact that we're gonna put them in their place! Torres to score at the Bernebau, how his old fans from Atletico would love that!

I believe, whoever we play, we will win and reach Rome

Hmm.. I'd go for a bit of Sporting Lisbon.
Although we could beat any of those.

I will take lyon or sporting lisbon. But all team are sh*t these days compared with us end of story.

I can't make up my mind...Inter to see Jose cry again  or Real Madrid to show them who's the boss.

Whoever we get, I will guarantee they won't be wanting us. 

Chelsea & Arsenal chances of meeting Barcelona are quite high by finishing as group runner up.

Barcelona cannot draw against the three Spainish teams (same country) & Porto (same group).

After this round then its free for all. No more limitation in the draw.

Sporting Lisbon please. Seems the easiest path through to me but any of 'em will do for me.

Truly dont care who we get but Id love Madrid to watch us pick them apart 

We could beat any team in the Champions League.
I'm very happy that Bayern Munchen finished 1st in their group because I think they are the hardest team for us - they play with high balls and they are very dangerous at set pieces.
I want to avoid only them on our way to Rome.

Bring them all on i say . We fear nobody and we have the ability to beat everybody. Don't care who we get in the knockout stages because we are going to Rome for sure

I wouldn't fancy our chances against 165 players, but I get your point.

There's no "soft" draws anymore in the Champion's League. The majority of the clubs are involved in it every year, and have plenty of experience.

The "big names"  are always difficult to play, and any clubs deemed "weaker" will undoubtably battle like mad every inch of the way.

In the end, I think we perform better against clubs like Inter than when we struggled to qualify against Standard Liege!

i would want to avoid Villa Real,

Whoever we get i'm sure we can beat them, maybe sporting would be the easier option, but we're going to have to play and knockout the best teams on the way to Rome, so why not now ?

The biggest advantage is that the return leg is at our place.  You can bet that all the atmosphere will be massive on the night and scare whoever we get.  It frightened Inter last year didn't it?
