Ok he won the CL with a poor Liverpool side & won the Fa Cup last season but is this the time to say goodbye?

He plays the world's best CM as a winger.... as a winger!!! Would you play Ronaldinho as a holding midfielder? i think not!

Why take off Mark Gonzalez & Xabi Alonso who are Liverpools most tecnical players on the pitch? Gonzalez did nothing wrong, infact he was liverpools most dangerous player and Alonso was not perfect but by far the best CM for Liverpool that day with Gerrard playing poorly Momo was better than him. Why play Luis Garcia who has simply not got the pace or power for the Premiership?

Carragher is having a horror season along with Finnan, Hyypia's legs have gone he is only good in the air... and Riise was awful. Reina has had every game as a bad one so Kirky needs to come back in for him! Seriously, dudek needs to come back NOW!

Liverpool have the players in midfield & attack, they just don't have the right manager that every Liverpool fans wants! I might get abuse now that im saying this but being honest a club like liverpool should be on fire from the start of the season to the end of the season otherwise a club like Liverpool only has history to make its name and nothing else!

I wouldn't go that far as I think that is a bit of an over reaction. Thought don't get me wrong, I am seething and not at just this defeat. We all crave for better showing than so far but right now it just doesn't seem to happen.

A couple of my suggestions are: First for Raffa to keep a settled side and pick his best 11 regardless of who we are playing and let them play a few games together to get some sort of a momentum. Second is for whoever is out there on the pitch to keep it simple by passing it around and keeping possession of the ball. Keep the ball and a degree of patience would bring its rewards.

All that said I am still seething...

      I don't think so.

Rafa has got to learn and yes I think he's a stubborn.  However he is the most technical manager we have ever had.   In the game today, you need technical managers.

I think the problem is that we keep settling for second best.  I.E Pennant, bellamy.

a knee jerk reaction if ever there was one, i do have my critcisms of rafa like most supporters but getting rid of him is most certainly not on the agenda.

We can make our judgements game after game but its the end of the season when the trophys are being handed out that matters most and then we can make our judgements then.

2 of the biggest trophys you can win in consecutive seasons and even if we dont win the league this year dont bet against us winning another big trophy after all isnt that Liverpool is all about winning trpohys.

Yes we all crave for the league but if its not to be this season then its not to be but we can still win it and yes it will be very hard now but mathematically possible and we still in all cup competitions so lets wait til the end of the season ay.

Oh No make your mind up Kirky or dudek, or how about we get that Luzi back,
Your team wasn't exactly in fifth gear yesterday, your teams from the 90's would of t*atted us out of sight if we played like we did yesterday against them.

oh and about your support, do any of your fans know any songs to sing about your own team, every song I heard the mongs sing yesterday was about us - what does that say!!!

Sorry Oh No about accusing you of being a manc just been for a scan around and looked in the board room, boy do I feel a t*at

Its just when we get beat by those c*nts it affects you mentally, we need to stick together as reds in the next few weeks cos there's gonna be some sh*t flying our way  eg Southampton away in 05 and the worst performance for 40 years crap.

Hopefully everyone is getting yesterday out of their system and those going on wed night get behind them

We also need to start cranking the atmosphere up at home games not just the euro games

OMG some suppporters have very short memories i bet you were singing ra ra ra rafa benitez at the start of the season and now that we are going through a sticky patch he has to go with what the man has achieved at the club in a short space of time dont you think he is allowed a bad patch.

If gerrard has a couple of bad games will you say sell him the same with carra no you wouldnt.

Liverpool F.C is a love affair to us all and should be treated with the same respect as a member of your own family, if a loved one was having a hard time would you get on their back about it and moan or would you help them through it.

As i have said in a previous post im not saying yesterdays result and performance is acceptable but it is obvious we are having a hard time of it and the club including the manager need evryone to rally round and be suportive

Not the best of starts to a seasons, bt last year was'nt the best either, and this time last year was when we start to win the games. so why should rafa have go now?

I think everyone is right saying rafa should stop rotation in the team, at the end of the day its to the players to perform on the pitch not just rafa picking the right team. so lets make are judgments at the end of the season like liverpaul sed.

How can you say that, i dont agree with his rotation policy but it will keep our players fresh come january, when he won us the CL we had played crap in the league, but we still won the CL and that was helped by rotation.

Some fans have very short memories.....

am not convinced with the rotation policy excuse think about it the main players in rafas starting 11 are

      reina
      carra
      hyypia
      finnan
      riise
      alonso
      gerrard
      sissoko
      kuyt

count the players its 9 and by my amazing powers of mathematics that only leaves 2 players short of a team so he is making 2 changes a game not 5/6 but because of the size of our squad and the different players who can play in positions it would appear that he is making loads.

The 1 exception which we cannot deny is that danny agger has to come into the fold at some point to replace hyypia we have to accept that for him to get experience he has to play so he will every now and then.

thats how i see it anyway
