Buffet Star-Hanover st for a quick scran when out on the ale.
Almost all the pubs in town are for me if I can get served.

3345 Parr St - lovely little secret bar for relaxing in. Think they have wi fi as well.

Blue Anchor in Aintree for food. Quality steak there.

As Reepicheep mentioned, the Albert Dock is nice. Unless she means the other docks where it's all industrial and on the shady side.

Lark Lane is nice for drinks and food as well. Which is not that far from the airport. 

Ken's chippy on Windsor St is lovely.

The Welly on Windsor St was a nice ale house until it closed down.

Eight on Allerton Rd nice restraunt.

The Everyman, boss for the pantos.

Prinny/Sevvy/Wavertree Park. Sevvy (Sefton) being the best for scenery, but Prinny (Princess) being the best for wildlife and Wavertree being the best for footy.

Cracking scran in there.

I love it when I'm getting the 21 into town from by ours. The view of the city from the top of Everton Valley is fantastic. Shame about the line of workers that generally hang about up there! There's a boss point where you're at the city's highest and I can't think of it's name for the life of me. Highly recommended, no pun intended!

Boss views of the city there isn't it mate. I sometimes stop there to have me dinner. Heyworth St.

They done 10 items or less for I think it was £2.50 so used to head there for a big fry up the morning after a night on the ale get me egg, beans, hash brown, 2 rashers, 4 sausages and go on the ale again

It's closed down now and it's a comedy store type of place. Gutted. 

Some would argue that it was already a place full of laughter.....but mostly sorrow. 

As for the One 4 Brian, used to be in there loads back in the day.

The park by Falkner Square is a nice area, quite quiet as well.

   funny you should say that Ken, I got locked in the Coconut Grove one night and spent the night rotten drunk asleep in the ladies powder room !!  Let myself out at 8.00am next morning and sheepishly walked out of there and down Muirhead Avenue to get a taxi, I got a right telling off from me mum

Also you get some good nights in the Masque on Seel St.

One paid £10/£5 (can't remember exactly) to get in there when it first opened, highlight was watching some girl in knee length white leather boots go arse over tit as she tried to make her way to the toilet

It's not Bar Red. Well before then mate (as in time) the place eventually was torched I think, thought X in the City was down between Lime Street/Adelphi

You're right. X in the city is by the old Cannon flicks isn't it. What did it used to be called? Barraca or something like that wasn't it?

I never used to go up that way in the mid 90's. I was usually going the State or Cream.

love going to liverpool one now, strolling round there, crosby beach, formby pine woods, burbo bank, Nags head (Thornton), Ferndale lodge in waterloo, Albert Dock, Kirkby towney, anfield , Tso's, The Grapes (Thornton and Formby), Golden palace (County Road) Nicola's and Tsosan (both on south rd, waterloo).

clubs wise, REFLEX!!!!! Office Bar, LLoyds, Yates's BAR CAVA!!! Flares (woooooooooooooo for the wrestling fan) and jakoranda, and heebee jeebies now and again

Actually thinking about it I also used to love the Bar Ca Va, if I'm thinking of the right place a little bit further down from the Krazy House that used to sell the Tequila shots for a £1, them were the days!!
