Mancs Vs Chavs What result would be best for our title challenge

With the Mancs Vs Chavs at the weekend What result would be the best for our title challenge.

Sadly both cant lose and normally I would plump for a draw, but I am leaning towards favouring a win for the Chavs as I feel Scumchester will finish the season the stronger of the two.

It's an interesting question.

I agree with Venison and I think a Chelsea win would be best for us.

However I just can't see Chelsea claiming more than a point from Old Trafford.

I'm leaning towards a Chelsea win. We've got Chelsea at home and United away. I'd say we were more likely to get a result against Chelsea at home. I'd be happy with a draw at United to be honest. I just feel if we're still there and there abouts come May, it'll be United there with us.

I've said a bore draw, but with a couple of sending offs too.

I've gone for a bore draw, with lots of yellows and a couple of reds thrown in for good measure.

Manc scum dropping two points at home would be a blow for them especially after their defeat to lowly Derby tonight.........Ha ha ha ha

You know if it was Rafa or Wenger, they'd pose the question.

I personally hope it is a draw so that we can hopefully extend the gap over both teams. However, if I had to pick one to win then it would be Chelsea purely because (and it pains me to say it) United usually come stronger towards the end of the season and the way Chelsea are playing i think United will finish higher than them.

Personally I couldn't give a toss. Providing we win, then the result won't bother me.

I think one of their games in hand is Fulham away isn't it? Could be wrong though. Not a guaranteed three points at all that. Ask Scolari.

Ive gone for the draw also. Just beacuse providing we win it will give us a 5 point gap and then they really well take notice and hit the panic button. Chelsea has an FA cup replay in between and the Mancs Carling Cup on top of the FA cup so sh*t will really hit the fan for them if one of them doesnt get a result.

I've chosen the purely mathematical benefitial result for us, a bore draw but i wont mind seeing a Chelsea win.

 I voted for a bore draw for the reason that both Manure and Chelsea will both fall another 2points behind us after we hammer Stoke this weekend.The bigger the gap we get the better it is for us as we roll on for number 19.

A draw is what I voted - both teams lose ground.  It would be great if they could both lose but never mind.

I'll also take a few red cards and career season endng injuries to Shrek, Ronald, Vidic, Cech, Lumpoflard and CryBaby.

I obviously can't stand both but definitely a Chelski win.

ManUre will finish the season stronger definitely and still have their games in hand. Also bursting their bubble at the Theatre of Queens would be stunning. Chelsea have been dropping points regularly and have lost their intimidatory status.

Whiskey-nose would then have to come up with a new tactical angle on how to immediately write off our Title chances and would be hilarious to watch as the flavour in his gum would have well and truly evaporated as we streak clear of them, having stuffed Stoke.

The best Chelsea can get is a point in my view.But I'm hoping for a surprise and a Chelsea win.

I want a draw but think the Mancs will  hump them .

But if that doesn't happen, I'd prefer for the Chavs to win. Because based on Utd's points, if they win both their games in hand, and the table stays the way it is, they would be 1 point behind us. 

So let's get the right F***ing result at Stoke and THEN worry about how them two tossers are getting on.

We needn't worry about other teams results as long as we just keep winning.

Like Court said, obviously a draw would be good as they both will drop points. If we beat Stoke comfortably, i don't mind seeing Chelsea beat MU as MU have 2 games in hand. A bore draw would put us ahead of Chelsea by 5 points and ahead of United by 9 points if we win. A United win would put us 6 points ahead Chelsea and the same ahead of United.

I'm going for a bore draw. Any points dropped by both those cu*ts is a good thing for LFC.

Tricky one to make my mind up this one.  United's two games in hand clouds the judgement.

Here's the two ways of looking at it (BOTH assume we beat Stoke!) - the figures in brackets are the number of points behind us

On reflection a draw would probably be best - although if Chelsea beat them I wouldn't be devastated.

Actually looking at that, i really want a draw. Ofcourse as i said, a Chelsea wouldnt be too badd but a draw would give us atleast a 3 point lead IF, and thats a big if, Scum win their 2 games in hand.

5 points over Chelsea and atleast 3 points over Scum is good enough for me.

I gone for a Chelsea win, obviously if we dont beat stoke then I will be hoping for a draw. But to see the mancs fall 10 points behind, would put massive pressure onto them knowing that they really have to win their games in hand. Chelsea would remain 3 points behind but we got that at Anfield coming up and im confident that we can get a result against them.

The mancs usually finish the season strong so we really need to hope they drop as many points as possible between now and end of season (stating the obvious I know!)

If Manchester win their 2 games in hand, they'd be a single point behind and then they have to beat us when we visit Old Trafford and they're above us, assuming we both collect same points till we play each other.

To be honest I think a draw would suit, it'd hold both back, put us 5 points clear and leave the mancs off the pace.

However, we need to focus on our own games, in particular beating Stoke

The other point is we have Chelsea at Anfield whereas we have to go to Old Trafford for our game against United.

Draw with a few injuries thrown in would be ideal
