Think benayoun coming from the bench would be good but aurelio wether through injury or something else doesn't
seem to get forward enough dosenna does but  end product isn't good enough this might change things up a bit just a tought

This game HAS to be the new beginning.

The rest of the season doesn't matter... it's over, it's the past, and it's not helped us too greatly!!!  This is our NEW beginning.  We have to start from this point.  Imagine how it would be...

      BEAT Chelsea
      BEAT Everton
      BEAT Portsmouth
      BEAT Man City
      BEAT Real Madrid

And a new story emerges.... Liverpool the challengers!!

We have to change things around, and it HAS to start NOW.

What I'd like it to be:
      Reina
      Arbeloa    Carra    Agger    Aurelio
      Alonso    Masch
      Yossi    Gerrard    Riera
      Torres

No F***ing about. Score early, push forward for another.

Fans have every right to be frustrated.  My grievances are aired off the pitch, never on it and I know it's the same for everyone I go with.  On a positive note I think it will take Gene Hackman a while to adapt to this league and we've swallowed the bitter pill too many times lately, I expect it to be a good match and if the fringe players step up their game we can certainly win it.

I'd go with that lineup as the chavs will not be parking any bus on Sunday ( they need a win as bad as we do).I'm confident that we've got enough to take them as we've done before, no better time for the Keane/Torres partnership to gel, 2-0 the Reds.

Salomon Kalou claimed that Chelsea wanted to "put the record straight"   when they face Liverpool at Anfield.

We scored in just 10 minutes at Stamford Bridge and surprisingly didn't concede a late equaliser :o ;D.

It is a must win game. Losing to a title rival at this stage when we are behind would be a massive blow.

Must win. Win and only win. Yes, i'm only looking for a win in this game. Any thing other than a win would be a big blow to our title challenge, or shall I put it that our season could be over.  January probably looked a good month for us to gain some points on the board but now we screwed up with 3 draws big time and that is a real big dent, no doubt. Win at home on sunday and we'll be back in it once again.

I like this team it's a good attacking mentality ...we get to use skrtel ,carra and agger in one same game ...I like the idea of him as a left back ! But maybe instead of Keane there it could be kuyt .. either of them its ok ! But a good positive team...send this to Rafa mate !

I like this. Keane will be still red. Agger on the left maybe exposed though for a bit of pace. but worth a shot i suppose. I think once we have xabi pulling the strings and stevie g on form with Masch breaking down their play, we can beat anyone..

The best probable line up would be

      ---------------------------------Reina----------------------------------

      Arbeloa---------Carragher----------Hyypia--------------Aurelio

      Gerrard-----------Mascherano-----------Alonso-----------Riera

      ------------------Torres--------------Keane--------------------------

Though I would like Agger/Skrtel in but the Chelsea forwards don't really have any pace-y players and Sami reads games well and would be good for the long balls in. Another one is , i'd like Insua there as left back.

I'd also prefer Stevie in the hole behind Fernando but I think this is a game for the Torres-Keane partnership to have a chance.

      xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Personally, I'd like to see this formation tried out in soon in a "not so important game"

      ------------------Reina---------------------
      Arby---------Carragher-----------Insua
      Kuyt----Masch-----Alonso------Riera
      ---------------Gerrard--------------------
      -------Torres--------------Keane--------

We didn't play really well against Standard Liege in 2 games, the games against Sunderland, Boro and Villa but we still managed to beat Man United at Anfield, deservedly. Was a good performance, too!

      True, cant argue.

Why do we always beat the big teams like Barca, Milan, Man U - but draw against STOKE! Arrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh hhh!

Supporting this club has its ups and downs....  But its still the most exciting.

This is football :) anything can happen! Like when we were totally outplayed/outclassed by AC Milan in 2005, yet won that European game in fantastic style! This is a feat that only Liverpool FC can do. Remember FA Cup 2006 as well :)

The strongest possible team we can have now is:

                             Torres                       Keane(Red )

                                              Gerrard

      Aurelio                       Xabi            Masch               Arbeloa

                      Agger                 Skrtel               Carra

                                               Reina

Plenty of width, good steady defence and our best forwards. All in one. The system worked well at Newcastle last year
