Good line-up although I would swap Riera's position with Aurelio.

I don't really think Kuyt should be a striker! , he should move to the right side and Benayoun plays behind Torres.

Aren't you suspended for only one game if you get 2 yellows?

From my understanding,  2 yellows = 1 match ban with immediate effect unless an appeal against the dismissal has been lodged.

Therefore Lucas served his suspension against Portsmouth and is available for the Man City game.  Let's hope he picks up a bug or something this week.

Lucas has allready served his suspension by missing the Pompey game.

We will see him in the starting 11 against City.

I think they City only know how to attack.  If they score first it will just piss us off and we will win.  If we score first we will probably slot a few past them. Liverpool win all the way.

As i have said in a previous post i would prefer 3 at the back but i think this will be the most realistic team and formation i can see Rafa putting out Imo.

I like the look of 3 central defenders. It gives the full backs/wing backs much more freedom to get forward. Note that our left back supplied two of Torres last three goals. Also it gives Agger chance to step forward into midfield when not closed down. Any thoughts?

Yes agreed, i would love to see that against man city as there recent away form is terrible.

With Aurelio giving such an impressive performance at CM against Portsmouth I wouldn't be too suprised seeing him play there again, although it is Rafa Benitez, we may well be seeing Lucas again for this game!

Got a feeling we going to see Lucas on and Kuyt just behind Nando.

I prefer Kuyt switching with Benayoun. Maybe Spearing should get a chance or Masch can play with Agger or Aurelio in the centre with Insua going left back.
