From the ridiculous to the sublime, that was Jerzy Dudek.

And I agree with DLS, his best game for us was probably the 2003 League Cup game against the mancs, it needed to be after virtually gifting a goal to Forlan in the league game at Anfield.

Fantastic save from Shevchenko in extra time and the saves during the pens, even if some of the pens taken by Milan were F***ing awful.

Funny how he doesn't mention the Arsenal 6-3 game and his comments regarding himself as a slave when he wanted a move to Madrid.

Enjoy your retirement "Big Pole In Our Goal"

Thats a fantastic video. He was obviously appreciated at Real Madrid and it takes a lot to be appreciated their.

Jerzy, I'll always remember you for a few reason. Don't get me wrong, I'll remember at times feeling nervous when you came for the ball but I'll also always remember you being such a nice guy. However, when it really counted, you did your job and you did it magnificently. Thank you so much for THE best night of my life. Nothing will surpass that moment. Best of luck to you for whatever you go into now.

I just know he started last night and was taken off in the 77th minute to a guard of honour from his Real Madrid teammates.

And wow .... 4 years in Madrid and he only made two appearances.
Seriously, only two appearances for Madrid? :o Well I never!...
My abiding memory of the man will always be that incredible night that was Istanbul.
I wish him all the best for the future.

Decent keeper who could be brilliant and sh*t in the same game.

Will go down in Liverpool folklore alright. And hopefully he enjoys his time away from football.

Jerzy, like every players that night responded... and he produced in my book one of the best save of all time in football! That double save on Shevchenko was just World Class and the following impact it had on Shevchenco's confidence, his penalty says it all..All down to Jerzy...
