Head says win against Madrid. Heart says beat United.... I went for heart on this one

It's a toughy alright.  I went for my head in the hope the scum would beat Inter, we get them in the quarter finals, hammer them, and go all the way to Rome to collect number 6!

      Simple really.

Next time we're at the match JD, ask me if whether I'd prefer the league or the European Cup.  ;)

This question turned out to be a complete waste of time!

      LFC 4 - 0 Madrid
      Mancs 1 - 4 LFC

      LFC 4 - 0 Madrid
      Mancs 1 - 4 LFC

Not at all.  It was a 'hypothetical' one if you remember. ;)

I had a feeling we would win both, but the results proved that people would rather we beat Real Madrid.

      However...

I think in hindsight, a lot of people may be enjoying beating the Mancs a lot more than our victory against Real Madrid, no?

I was only having a laugh but i agree with you about the Manc victory being sweeter than the Madrid one.

Very tough one. If there were only 6-8 games left in the Premier League, I'd have an answer.
      Thats what id say! ;)
