Just keep checking the fixtures and wondering where Man may loose some points. With Man City?, with Arsenal? or the last game with Hull. Loosing 7 points is a lot. But as we know, nothing impossible.

Any chance we can have a sticky posted with the full game highlights?

Nothing major just all the goals and Vidic's sending off will do nicely  :P

If a straight red ensures 3-match ban, why would they decide to give only two. Sick of the double standard of the FA. When it was Mascherano, they all but mauled him! practically threw the book at him. If that was Benayoun practically stomping Boswinga off the pitch, there would have been repercussion!

I do hope its supposed to be a 2-match ban, or else the FA would had their skirt pulled up as it will look like they're unduely favouring Man U & Chelsea.

Denying obvious goal / goalscoring opportunity= 1 match
Offensive or abusive language / gestures = 2 matches
Violent Conduct / Serious Foul Play  = 3 matches

Plus an extra match if sent off earlier same season.

      Them's the rules Solodee. ;)

At Least Fergie Was Graceful In Defeat

United threw the game away against Liverpool after going in front with a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty. Sir Alex Ferguson admitted the visitors deserved to win because the capitalised on United's dreadful mistakes.

'It`s difficult to defend a 4-1 defeat. We got in front and then threw the game away. It`s a hard one to take. But at this club it`s always about how you respond. When you lose a game: respond. And that is what we will do."

"Nemanja has been unbelievably consistent for us this season. Players do have off days, and he`s made a mistake. He`s a human being, all players make mistakes. It`s just a costly one for us."

Fergie added that he could have no complaints about the red card Vidic received: we would have been looking for a red card it was against us, he admitted.

"But if the league was starting today, you`d take a four-point advantage with a game in hand. The goal difference is narrowed, it`s only five goals now. It was a bad day, but we have to kick on.'

That's perfectly true but. Let's imagine a scenario when Liverpool desperately want to LOSE at Old Trafford. It's surreal all right but yesterday they would have won even if they had wanted to lose. And that's the most horrible. We have beaten ourselves AGAIN.

I'm still hoping we'll get Liverpool in the European Cup.
