Off to the Pub

Went to the Pub at lunch time for a pint but the bloody pumps weren't working!

Off to the pub for a little poker tourny the aim is to gather points from now to christmas and if you have enough you get to play in the christmas morning final, 16 weeks away .

Andy hope its for plenty dollar and good luck mate in the finals I know you can do it.

Come 6th out of 17 so not bad considering i only had two good hands all night got myself 6 points towards the final so onwards and upwards as they say ,now 3 points for us today would be a bonus,.

Went down the club only to find out the strippers were actually granny's, they must have been about 70, no wonder the wife let me go. stayed in the bar yuk, not into the Rooney thing.

Avoiding the pub today. Just gonna walk straight to Anfield from ours. Can't remember the last time I didn't go the match via an alehouse!!

Sure was tough, played three lost three, good laugh though.

Off to the pub tonight.  Work is throwing a freebie.  Leave the office early and free drinks for a couple of hours.  Result!

Early doors for me tonight.  Was supposed to be going home tomorrow but now plans have had to be changed so I'm not going.  Damn, could have stayed and had a few more!  At least I won't miss the Hull game   

Thursday was a good night.  Got talking to the newish partner in the firm, and talk about coincidences.  We're both welsh, so we talked a bit about that.  Then he said, where did you go to uni?  I said "Liverpool", he said "so did I!"  After a while spent fondly reminiscing, he asked me where I lived when I was in Liverpool.  I said first year "University Hall" and then Sheil Road, and, knock me down with a feather, he said "I was at that hall!".  Spooky or what!  It's no longer there, think it's a hotel now but I've got many happy memories of that place.

No more off to the pub for me, until October 20th anyway. Had a good few Saturday for the match and decided time for a break. Never tried to stop before so wont be easy but its good for the belly and the wallet
