yu had to be there...26th may 2005 at st georges square......one of those moments that one will neva forget..........the best football anthem in the world sang by the best supporters in the world for the best team in the world......enuf to bring tears to a grown man...no one in the workd can sing it like the kop..........its the anthem of the comman man and says everythng about our great club

If you had read earlier posts u would know that i am a longtime admirer of lfc, but unfortunately, i can't say that about the fans, or atleast the ones on this board. Only logged in to learn a bit of extra info because my partner supports liverpool, but to have abuse thrown at you is not what i had anticipated by all accounts.

So i shall be going now, slag me of if you insist, i wont be here to see it; and its not gonna make any difference to the fact we are above you in the league (at least for now)

YNWA for me, no other song comes close.

Pompey fans don't have a song, it's just POMPEY then they all clap there hands, pathetic.

I know, they are the most irritating bunch of dickheads ever  !!  Especially that knobhead who never wears a shirt, just a waistcoat and a stupid hat !!

I think slagging pompey fans off is outrageous to be honest, and I would have thought you would have had more respect for them seeing as they support their team through thick and thin no matter what.
Chants of "play up pompey pompey play up" no matter what happens to their team are one of the oldest in Englsih League History, they were singing that on the terraces a long time before we adopted YNWA. I happen to have a big deal of respect for what they did last season, and I admire the way Harry Rednapp has strung together the team and made them one of the best in the premiership with not half what we spent last year.

I think your retoric is uncalled for and I think its an insult to the good reputation that Pompey fans have no matter where they go, I for one respect them far more after they came to anfield last season and got slaugtered but even at 3-0 down their fans were still singing and that guy beating his drum till he was blue in the face was a credit to his supporters assoc. Apologies are in order gentlemen I think you will agree.

 i was wathing that x-factor when the young liverpool boy (cant remember his name ) sang it, and i was almost crying with him.
i think lfc should get him to sing it at anfield, on the day we win the title, which will be soon

I Love YNWA and the Ring of fire but their lyrics weren't written on the football terrace. The best 'pool songs for me are every other Saturday and Liver Bird, although We love you Liverpool (when people know the words to the verses) is pretty good too!. 

Y.N.W.A   Nothing beats it for passion.A mate of mine who's an oldham fan came with us once to watch Liverpool and even he had to admit it sent a chill straight to his bones.The passion of hearing all the liverpool fans singing.

obviously ynwa ad field of anfield rd are the classic emotional ones but i love  singing we won it five times just to remind all other england clubs that we are the kings of europe as an english representative
