Liverpool FC - The Reserves Thread

Was going to go to this with my Dad and my lad but haven't managed to make it.

Will try and get going to these though as it is very local and my Dad is a lot like Debs in that he watches a sh*t load of them and knows all of the young lads.

He's got no excuse for not going. Lives about a 2 minute walk away from Prenton Park.

Get yourselves there and take the kids too (you do have kids don't you?) whenever possible mate.  Youth footy is great way for youngsters to get involved and give them a taste of what's waiting for them as they get older. 

2 adults and 2 kids for less than £15 to get to see Sakho, Ilori, Branners, Ejaria, Woodburn, Wilson, Ings etc how can you not

Yes - two of the saves in the second half were excellent. His only weakness seems his distribution [he nearly hit me more often than team mates] but that can be worked on. Good performance overall.

Another big game for the u23s tomorrow night with a trip to Manchester City.

We're just 1 point behind them in 3rd place after closing the gap at the top with our fantastic 2-0 defeat of Everton last weekend.  We've not lost in the last 5 games, winning our last 3.

The game is live on lfc.tv, coverage starts at 6.30pm, with ko at 7pm.

We're already above them by a point Debs. It's the under-18's where they're 2 points above us.

Ah bollox,nice goal from their first real chance.....our keeper keeps us in this,lost our way badly.

Some decent play but we're rushing the final ball and wasting the few good opportunities we are creating.

Randall's probably with the 1sts as Milner has been ill this week and Juanma played against Everton on Sunday though he may be injured if he's not on the bench.
