Good job though to take over I reckon. Host of fairly decent players they just have no confidence and have been unable to settle upon a style of playing which suits them. They definately underachieved this year.
People like Strachan etc should snap up this job I think, if they made some decent decisions during the transfer market we could see a really improved Sunderland next year. However, I think the loss of Cisse is a negative for them and I definately think they need to try and keep hold of Jones. Sunderland have had their stick but I really don't think they are as bad as everyone makes them out to be, like I said they just need a new manager to take them under their wing and sort the club out.
