HMMMMmmm we praise him and then he did his job and scored and now we don't want him?

He'd make a good squad member I still think... hate him for scoring though

I think this whole Tevez scenario was just a plea for Alex to sign him up. I don't think he'l leave United, it's a matter of principle anyway I don't want him to play for us and I certainly wouldn't be prepared to spend 30 million on him ther's better strikers you can get for that amount of money.

If it was a choice between Tevez and Silva, i'd choose Tevez cos he is proven in this league.

Kuyt would instantly be more over than tevez if he shouted during goal celebrations

But what about Silva 4 15 million plus the cash for another striker, or Tevez for double the price?

Glad It's catching on, I personally dislike Tevez not only because he's manc scum, but his constant moaning and how much speculation he's creating about himself. He'l end up with the scum next season.

I'd imagine Silva would be closer to 20m and Tevez is not worth more than 25m imo.

Yup, Tevez is overpriced, ther's better strikers available for 30 million. Bear in mind that Valencia are debt ridden, aparantley we've offered 15 million for Silva as a take it or leave it offer according to the Guardian. That would be a bargain.

I think we need to forget about Tevez, It's not worth 30 million just to piss off fergie haha..Silva and a different striker in my opinion. Villa,Dzeko,Pandev ther's plenty out there.

Don't want any Manc reject we have Kuyt who is a total workhorse and can play nearly every game...he can go to La Liga or another rival for all I care.  Lets get a quality striker like Silva...save our money for that kind of Torres combo......  ;D

Only thing is Kuyt is not as good as Tevez. He mite work his socks off but Tevez is needed to take the pressure off Torres for goals. If he becomes available get him. It should be nothing to do with tonite. Utd are winning the league because of their ability to get results when they are not performing. The truth hurts but there u have it. Next season is a new ball game though.

Oh yeah at 15m. But Valencia will want to sell as high as possible to cover their debts.

My dream target is just to go all out for Aguero! 30 million all the way. He's got enough quality to play anywhere in the front three. Highly doubt it'l happen though. Haha.

He ruined our chances, if the mancs don't get a point from their next two games I will be forever stunned. Weirder things have happened but...

As for Tevez, why is everyone bagging him for doing what a striker is supposed to do, scoring goals? I know its practically killed our season but I'd still take him because we need another striker who can score goals, Torres and Gerrard aren't enough. I know we've scored over 100 goals this season but without Torres or Gerrard we are really short of attackers.

15 million for Silva would be a steal, but I'll discuss that in the appropriate topic.

      I'll agree with that.

Quite a lot of knee-jerking on this thread, I feel. If anything, Tevez has shown his ability to show up in the big matches, under pressure, and score vital goals.

Whether or not he'd fit into our side, or believing he's overpriced is one thing, but saying we shouldn't sign him for doing exactly what he's paid to do is another!
