One of the fellas on the touchline who was with Kenny Dalglish is married to me ma's best mate.
He's called Lee Martin, there's a bit about him in the programme- He's the breast surgeon who treated Marina Dalglish.
A few months ago me ma and da got to go to his 40th and Kenny, Alan Hansen and Lee McCulloch were there and me da ended up singing YNWA with Kenny and Ian McCulloch

Brilliant night. Full of humour, emotion and superb legendary football.

I was in awe of seeing King Kenny, Rush and Aldo on the Anfield turf banging goals in again. And the way most of the old school reds clicked together with their football was a pleasure to watch.

That YNWA at the end had me a bit emotional. As did the 'Stand up, for the 96'.

Nice view their Kenneth!  Were you in block 204 by any chance?

Ah also, I've been busy tonight, anyone know where I can catch some extended highlights??

I felt a proud man stood in the KOP last night and saw King Kenny get a goal, and after the match and even during what seemed like 10 minutes of stand up for the 96 but every liverpool fan in the stadium did the club proud and i know there was an extra 96 in the stadium last night smiling

Boy did the youll never walk alone give me goosebumps last night

Thoroughly enjoyed last night and thought they all did well. Lawrenson was brilliant as was Stan. Just sending of my donation to the appeal lets not forget what last night was all about. We couldnt go so I will be sending our ticket money instead.
