I presume this match date has been changed, if not I have really screwed up my off-duty.

You presume right RedPuppy, this match was originally scheduled for Saturday 2nd May 3pm

Hope people aren't taking this one too lightly, could be a tight affair and we shouldn't underestimate them.

Anyway, hilarious sarcasm aside (if you hadn't noticed) I don't see why we should score minimum another three goals against a very weak side, lacking in confidence and with no real leadership at present.

They're ours for the taking, another win will obviously keep United on their toes in the title race. They may be in pole position, but as it's been mentioned already, our superior goal difference could play a part. One slip up from them and it could go to the wire - we need to keep up the maximum pressure on them we can.

Don't remember what I've predicted, but I reckon we should get easily 3-4 and hopefully not leak any silly goals at the back.

I think we´ll win but Newcastle will have to play better than v portsmouth and they can play really better.
On the other site Nando scores 3 and Stevie 2  ;D maybe Danny if he´ll play.

      Liverpool 7-0 Newcastle.

Torres hat trick, Gerrard with two, Kuyt and Mascherano with the goals.

Bit more reserved myself, but honestly I don't think that result is out of the question.

Should be an easy game alright, has to be at least 4 nil

Liverpool 4 Newcastle United 1 !! I would love it if the Reds helped send those Geordie's Down to the panda pop league!!  :lmao:

Torres, Gerrard, Alonso, Aurelio to score the goals IMO. Mancs cant possibly think they have it all wrapped up surely!

      I reckon :

Reina, Insua, Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Mascherano, Alonso, Kuyt, Benayoun, Riera, Torres.  Subs: Cavlieri, Skrtel, Aurelio, Lucas, Gerrard, Babel, N'gog.

We don't want to risk Gerro, we want him 100% fully fully fit for the more difficult clash that will be West Ham away.  Mind you, just to get him match fit, bring him on for the last 20 mins if the game is fully wrapped up.

I think our goal-fest will start again at this match.

But we just need a win, so I'm really looking forward to it.

      7-1 for me. :)

Come on let's not get cocky. Newcastle need a win and have a good attacking options. We should win and think we will but 2+ goals is a bonus.

Although i have predicted a 5-0 win and many others have predicted high scores, knowing our luck they will just come and park the bus and have all their players behind the ball.

Just so long as we get the game won in the first half that way it will lower our chances of having a full on heart attack at the end of the season.

I think we'll beat them. I think we should easily be beating them. But I'm not going to get too carried away.

The way we performed against Hull is still fresh in my mind. We were below standard for big parts of that game, especially when dealing with the ball in defence. When you come up against teams who are fighting for survival and you're not composed in your own half, you can end up paying for it. What helped us against Hull was that we scored our goals at vital times in the game.

So before I'm going to think how poor Newcastle may be, I'm more concerned about how our lads are going to give a more focused and solid performance.

Of course, being back at Anfield and having Gerrard back will be a big boost. If the lads keep it rock solid at the back and are clinical going forward. Hopefully we'll absolutely demolish them.

Newcastle are fighting for their lives. Anybody thinks it will be easy is barking up the wrong tree. Unless we score in the first 15 minutes and they drop there heads I cant see it being a 4 nil like suggested. Once we get the 3 points I dont care if its 1 nil or 9 nil. Hopefully Boro will do us a favour on Saturday and we will return the favour Sunday
