That's what's so exciting about today's game!
We hear so much build up for huge European matches, and they are indeed a delight to watch, but for me that can't compare to these games as the season comes to a close!
The pressure is on the side, as we have the chance to once more top the table. Great as European footy is, I find this kind of match even more mouth-watering and exciting.
Another good point about today is that whether or not you believe we can win the league this season, the preparation and stress going into this match will be invaluable for the players. The experience of forcing a title challenge to the very end will stand us in good stead for years to come, and I think year by year these kind of matches will become easier for the players to deal with.
I honestly believe we are at the beginning of a new era of strength for Liverpool, and am savouring every moment of it!
