Yeah he's studying photography at a Uni in Plymouth. I think he was trying to get photos of lightning and the cloud formation was something of a 'happy accident'.

I should have mentioned this in the OP because you wouldn't know without clicking the link but Tony's photo is called The Winged Horse. If you look at the cloud formation in the centre, that's what it resembles.

I tried to add that title but my 'modify' period had expired.

Nice picture! Clouds can be amazing sometimes, like surreal. I actually heard of that cloud appreciation society before on wired.com.
