Take the quiz and we'll compare our scores!

I found it suprisingly difficult and ended up only getting 2 right  :o!

In blustery conditions, a goal kick is blown backwards past the keeper and into the goal. What happens?

A: A goal is given and the keeper is given an ovation by the opposing team.    ;)
B: The goalkeeper is booked for having a banana foot.
          C: A corner is given.

What a funny question. The answer to that is actually C.

I only got one more mate, some of them rules were completely suprising to me, and the last one isn't even a proper answer! The key to the question is 'should'.

      I got 5 right.

And I spent a while thinking as well.

If you haven't done the quiz yet - do it at http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/hi/fun/quiz/newsid_2713000/2713327.stm# because I am going to talk about some of the answers now.

      ##### SPOILER ######

The goal kick blown backwards one I got wrong.  I didn't know whether they meant it had just been blown off the spot or the keeper had kicked it and then it went in.  I said a goal anyway.

The penalty re-take one I got wrong.  I was always under the impression that the same player had to take the spot kick again.

The removing shirt after a goal I got wrong.  I thought that was a yellow card everytime these days.  According to that quiz it says it isn't a yellow card offence.  Hmm... not too sure on that one now.

Same ones wrong as you JD and a couple of others obviously.

Should of have got 5 at least. It is a straight yellow if they take their shirt off after scoring!

I thought the goal kick one was confusing as well, I had the same problems with wondering if it was after he kicked it. Got it wrong.

I got the penalty re-take one correct. ;D

And I also thought the shirt removal was an automatic yellow too - debatable, no?  :-\

      5 for me too,

Q10, I said book him, but an answer is show leiniency and let him have his moment of glory. WTF! all those bookings,

      So who is right?
      A) Yes the BBC are correct and the Refs are tw*ts
      B) The BBC do not know jack sh*t and the Ref is right to spoil the party.
      C) Do not score a goal and your safe.

It's rigged i tells ya, rigged!

Unless you actually don't know the rules, you can't get a perfect score in this. Referees are meant to give yellow's to players who get off their kits.
