      Dave Grohl replied and gave the extremely talented young lady the task of playing one of his Those Crooked Vultures songs, which is meant to be super technical and difficult, so she has gone away to practice it.

      Got to take in all the good news whilst we can. Last few weeks have been alright though! The darkest months seem to be throwing out the light! Joe Biden beat Trump, COVID vaccine looks like it's on its way and Bruce released a wonderful new album - a cracker as Si has already put it on here! E Street in all its unabashed glory as well!

      Thanks Si - some great tracks on this thread as ever.

      Bruce has been very prolific these last few years. A wonderful autobiography, a great stage show on Netflix and then two albums released in two years. I was a bit unsure whether Bruce had another E Street album in him especially as last years Western Stars was so fantastic (I really do put it amongst his elite albums - I thought it was perfect). But Letter To You smashed it out of the park. I sure hope he can get back on the road - it's an album that deserves the fullest, most wholesome live treatment in front of thousands of fans.

      A certified banger! Love his stuff with The Police, can take or leave his solo stuff but this is just the perfect tune for me. Love everything about it!

      Yeah, that song always strikes me given its direct references to his Dad's passing. Some beautiful lyrics. 'Father if Jesus exists then how come he never lived here'. Superb!

      I should really source the whole album.
