Thought that, but the 'bbc have got their story forever' seemed like a shot aimed at them. Maybe I am reading it wrong.

Still, it's a cowardly thing to do from Brighton regardless.

Didn't he try and get himself a move to a premier league team behind the clubs back?

Either way it was awkward to watch and the BBC should have let it lie. Gus clearly was not happy at just being made unemployed and then being grilled on it live for our amusement.

I missed the story behind this... Why was his job in question in the first place

Not sure how you could justify treating a guest like that. Announcing it to him in the most awkward fashion and making sit there and cop it in front of TV cameras.

Poyet is such a likeable guy, felt so sorry for him. As WAHS said, would like him to get a job in the Premiership.
