I hope Lukaku to United will be like Torres to Chelsea.

That not nice considering you hate Everton  more.  ;D

United are worthy rivals, Everton are just never anywhere near us. However, if Lukaku plays like he did at Everton he will be a good signing, so of course I hope he flops.

Lukaku will definitely improve the side but being honest certainly wasn't my first choice. Do you think he goes missing/idle in quite a few games? No doubting his ability but certainly not world class from what I've seen so far. I can only hope being in a better side now he can improve.

      Quote from Keith Singleton
      Lukaku quoted as saying.
Not a bad start to his career

A black man's Fellaini. A big lump whose usually crap against us, and nothing to be scared of. Not that he'll have much to do when they come here in a few months bar kick the ball out of his own penalty area for 90 minutes.

Funny though how the small club abandoned all their "corner shop" principles once the transfer fee came in.

Saw something online earlier saying he was meant to go to Chelsea but his first touch took him to Mancs instead

Hos first touch is shocking to be fair so it's quite a possible scenario.

Even a bit of casual passing in training is too much for him

Was a bad tackle, if it hadn't of been a friendly I think he would of been sent off. Good tour for the Mancs so far though  :)

      I'm not sure about that.
If you look at last season, is he an upgrade on Ibrahimovic?

So far in his career, he appears something of a "flat track bully" who does well against smaller teams, but is pretty useless against good defenders.

It looks very much like Mourinho's favourite "big man up front to hit with a long ball".

Upgrade?? I actually don't know swabs, you'd probably say no till proven otherwise. Fortunately there're more small teams that big in the premier league.  :D

Certainly looks from some of the players he's bought were going to be ultra defensive with many a long ball. Can't wait though with the tour going well it does get you excited, that's if your a United fan of course.   ;D

I certainly think there's an element of Mourinho being "found out" in the prem, and he only really knows one way to play, and as the smaller teams have more money to spend, I can see your lot struggling again a bit this season, unless maureen goes against the habit of a lifetime and changes things up a bit.

I'd wish you luck, but I wouldn't mean it so no point ;)

I think Mourhino will mix it up this year and hopefully  finish in top 2/3. Would be against the grain if a Liverpool fan wished us luck swabs  :D I do hope United & Livepool are up there though as its makes it all the more exciting when we beat you  :f_whistle:

He's still on board tho' Keith, must give your confidence a knock to know he will get play time.
More worrying is the fact that your manager hasn't been allowed to get F***ing shut.

Goals, he does have a knack of getting important goals for your lot or at least creating the space for them via his genius use of "legal" elbows!

Genius manager using Dave "Harry" Bassett tactics.
