      From the BBC...

Just how bad has United's season been?

Manchester United have never had fewer points, nor scored fewer goals, at this point of a Premier League season.
Only in 1930 (28), 1972 (25) and 1921 (24) have they lost more games in a calendar year than the 21 defeats they suffered in 2023.
They have lost nine out of their opening 20 league games for the first time since 1989-90. United only lost nine times in the league in Ten Hag's first season in charge.
This season they have lost more games (14) than they have won (12) in all competitions.
United have lost five out of eight games in December, scoring six times and conceding 12.
Their best run of the season is three successive victories. They have won two games in a row just twice

So tonight Jadon Sancho made his comback for BVB after 2 days with the team - came as a sub around 60.
Had not played since August, but fitted in feckin well. nearly scored with his 1th touch, made a scorer with his 3rd or 4th touch. brought a lot of energy in.
I have seen some games of the Mancs lately - why the hell did he not play there? what is wrong with this manager?

      Have no sympathy for Sancho

He lacks professionalism, turning up late for England, his current club and United. He ain’t apparently be picked due to his discipline issues for England

I understand him lacking discipline at United as the club is in the gutter in terms of standards but he’s clearly someone who just hated what he signed into and couldn’t be bothered in the end

Ego...low self esteem. That's what's wrong . Like Brendan here. Way out of his depth.

Standing his ground, was told to apologise for something by Ten Bob Note, the same something Rashford did and didn't have to apologise, so I'm guessing Sancho thought "F**k you Erik"

Buying lots of expensive players doesn't guarantee success.

I see Ratcliffe has come out in proper Rose Tints trying to channel his inner Fergie with that knock Man City and Liverpool off their perch sh*te.

Might need to buy a team to do that first!!

Aye and going to build a stadium for the North. He'd have pegged it before anything he promises happens. He will probably bring greenwood back as well.
