Played the demo a few times now.

Okay, a few nice tweaks here and there and the commentary / crowd particularly is great.

However, like I said earlier, it's very much a novelty game and it would certainly wear off.  I'll just stick with FIFA 10.

If the game was about £10 to buy - I'd consider it.

      I think just kick-off - Italy v Spain.

I noticed there's also 'penalty shoot-out' - I've not tried going on that though.

      THEY'RE IMPOSSIBLE TO SCORE FROM!
But there are some nice features such as a stutter shot :P
      Proper nice

And some of the celebrations are unbelievable! Love it :D

Realised before that I've saved over my Liverpool Manager Mode.  I was about 5 or 6 seasons in.  Annoying!

Got a Barca one on the go though now.

FIFA 10 WC game is alright, don't like the penalties mind.

Not as good as the original. And I wont be buying it probably, maybe later in the year when it's cheap.

Custom tactics for FIFA 10 are an absolute gem.

I've got Liverpool passing better than Barca:

Passing should be set to free-form, risky and short.

Attacking/shooting should be set to free-form.

      It's brilliant!

I just started a new Manager Mode with Liverpool.

      Might give that a whirl!

Some of those are new players and I will be getting formation cards soon. Still, chemistry doesn't seem to affect me too much.

On the bench is Diaby, Manuel Fernandes, Zidan, El Hamadoui, Sessegnon, Reveillere, Luisao, Andjuar, Felipe Melo, Seedorf, Figueroa, Marquez.

If I wanted to, I could change some of the players i.e. Govou and Suarez for Sessegnon and Seedorf and my chemistry is brill.

But I'd rather have the better players!

Well annoying that I saved over my Liverpool Manager Mode by accident.

Had to start again. I was in my 5th or 6th season on the other and I had a quality squad.

Ah well. Getting on with the new one!

F**k all your UT talk! I just finished my second season with Liverpool in manager mode, and finished second to Arsenal, failing to defend my league title by 2 points! (I finished with 90) But I won the league cup and the European cup, so softened the blow!

But the screen at the end of the season that shows if you passed your objectives. As I failed to reach the FA cup final, I lost 25 rep! Ridiculous!!

Annoying isn't it. It takes absolutely ages to work your rep up and then as soon as you lose in the FA Cup you pretty much lose everything!

On my second season with Barca now. Won the league by an absolute mile - simulated most of the games as I'm trying to get far into the game like my old Liverpool save before I lost it.

Got a great squad now. Quite funny actually when I was simulating the matches - every single one was ending 5-0+!
