Ahead of Englands trip to Spain. it should be an interesting battle in midfield with two of our top midfielders. with Steve g and xabi Alonso. lets just hope they come away with no injury's.

exactly, but do we really need this 'friendly', I mean Champions league starts again in 2 weeks time.
Won't that be great if we have players who pick up injuries in this game.

      Completely agree Tommo.

The real England v Spain will be in two weeks time... or is that England & Spain v Spain.

I clicked this thread expecting it to be about 'Who was the best'.  Thank god we didn't need to have that debate.

On the bright side, England could do Liverpool a big favour by injuring Barca players playing for Spain. Xavi, Puyol etc.

We are Liverpool and we didn't play tonight, not for 3 minates or 87! Ingerland are a joke with a Joke manager employed by a joke football association. International football is a joke with about 3 good games in the whole world cup!

      Concur Mr Horse.

Hate watching England.  Especially pointless friendlies.  I would be praying for Neville or Ferdinand or Lamplard etc etc to fall on their arses and score some own goals.

No injuries to the reds is the best result I ever hope for.  And there both safe (it seems) so that's good news and this thread can be 'retired' - like the Beckham.

Hmmmmmm KK given the strength of feeling that we express on many a Reds behalf, maybe all International post should be made in the "Arkles" as the only interest we have is that our players return uninjured.

Good point.  Seeing as this isn't a democracy ;) in future I intend to be on international 'moderation watch'.
