Fiji had them on the ropes in the second half. Love watching Fiji. All this talk about England won't fear anyone in the semis...I expect they will get demolished as it will be the first world class opposition.

From the first 20 minutes of this one it’s pretty clear they are getting a beating next weekend!

They overcome a very physical Fiji today. No luck about it.

Can't split these two could go either way

South Africa are a completely different beast in knockout rugby.

Would love to see them up against the All Blacks in a couple of weeks.

Epic. Springboks never know when they're beaten.

Apart from no yellow card for Tom Curry's no arms tackle, Yet Fiji's Habosi yellowed for a totally accidental head clash.
Fiji's poor penalty efforts all the difference in the end. You'd have to say England have had a very favourable route to the semis.

It was an incredible game, absolutely immense from both sides. How do they keep going?....Look at footballers rolling around in agony when they get tripped up....embarrassing.

As one sided as you can imagine for a semi final.

Can England upset the big brutes from SA.

Terrible game management from England in that last 15 mins threw the game away plus the subs who couldn’t scrum!!

Huge missed opportunity, errors crept into their play and the kick before the penalty was poor

But ref was only looking at one side for those last two scrum penalties- ignored the boks pushing sideways

One thing I'll always hate about Union is how much emphasis is placed on the scrum. Brought up on a diet of League the Scrum is just a way of restarting the match and not a tool to win cheap penalties.

I think England were unlucky but beyond the cheap penalties South Africa realised they could win at will there was a few scruffy plays in amongst it too.

Not really they got battered in the scrum once the hand goes down sideways or not your penalised

Last two scrums first Koch started pushing sideways before the hand went down ( but was close ) - but the last one Fester ( Ox ) was clearly not pushing straight - but by that time OKeefe was always going to punish England because of the 3 previous scrums
