Nah man Rashford is one talented f**ker, he goes on merit, no mistake.

Jack Wilshere though is going on his overhyped reputation.

Drinkwater can feel really unfortunate about it.

Agree on Rashford. Gifted, fearless and in good form. Couldn't leave him out.

Bit of a shame in some respects to see Wilshere just walk straight into the squad having only played three games when Drinkwater anchored the Leicester midfield all season, but overall I am happy with the squad and especially the difference in attitude brought by some of the newer crop.

Less ego, nothing to fear and everything to gain...Kane, Alli, Vardy, Dyer...I actually look forward to seeing them play.

If we're being honest he could have easily have left out Wilshere and Barkley and taken Drinkwater and another centre-back.

Woy doesn't go on form though, he goes on name and club. In all honesty Sturridge shouldn't be there either, didn't play a part in the warm up games and is obviously going into the competition unprepared and on the back of an injury so I can't see that ending well for us going into pre season.

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest if they go out in the group stage like the World Cup.

Wales to top the group, England to go out in the second round.

You can set your watch by the England boom and bust cycle.

I have no interest in your posts, please stop aiming posts at me in an attempt to start an argument.

It's tragic and my views on European politics are not relevant to the England National Team.

For your information, I have now hidden you.

Not seen it myself. So who would he play ahead of? Vardy, Kane, Sturridge? nah. He is back up for the back up.

Looking at England, I think it's reasonable to believe there are big questions over their defensive capabilities, so packing the squad with strikers is logical.  I think both Sturridge and Rashford will be used as subs.

Wales' squad is far worse than England's, not sure why some are so confident they'll do amazing in this tournament.

Drinkwater can count himself unlucky, probably should have gone ahead of Wilshere or a striker.

Exciting attack but a dodgy defence, England games could end up being quite good to watch for a change!

I'm not sure where I said they would do amazing though? I agree England have superior squad.

Their starting XI is decent and I think they'll top the group. That doesn't mean they are good but I think you can see how they can cause teams a problem and keep goals out. I think having a lad as good as Bale, something England can't boast, and a squad of decent but varying quality is preferable to what England have. Just my opinion though.

Tournaments are so often lit up by individuals, they are often the main memories, and Wales have one of the players I think is in the class who can be the star man this time.

I said on Danny's threas he has fallen back in the pecking order since the World Cup.He is 26 and is now at his peak he needs to get on with his career and play games and win stuff or it will be over before he can blink.

Only for Hodgson being in charge, I would've given England a good chance of winning the tournament.

to be honest , whoever is in charge England just aren't good enough, got some good attacking options but defence and midfield is pretty average

I didn't felt so excited about the national team in a while. Exciting young squad we have, too bad Woy is the manager. If he truly has balls he would bench Rooney and play with a 4-3-3 with Hart-Clyne-Smalling-Stones-Rose-Dier-Milner-Alli-Barkley-Kane-Vardy

Stones should be left on the beach with the other stones......big liability and I don't care how good is he passing the ball 5 yards, defenders need to defend first and foremost and when I have seen him he gets caught out all the time and is not mobile enough. £50m.....yours all day long.

I think he has done better than some managers, Taylor and McLaren were a lot worse! He has atleast been reasonable.

Even if he is fourth choice, he is in the squad on merit.

England have a good shout of semi finals if Roy lets them play. We could easily crash out early too.
