      Southgate been manager of England for nearly a year. Genuinely haven't seen anything to suggest he'll do better than Hodgson. If anything the poor bas**rds look even worse.

      We've had a couple of decent moments in attack this half. Nobody from Ingerland is really causing any problems. Hopefully Malta can grab a goal

      Terrible game.
      Lots of poor individual performances and a pretty dire team one.
      Spent most of the game absentmindedly watching hendo and chamberlain (are we gonna call him chamberlain, Alex or The Ox...hope not)
      Watching England is always depressing or frustrating or infrequently mildly tolerable.
      Saying that though, I like the fact that southgate is willing to try people out and isn't so far up the back sides of the top premier league clubs in comparison to prior England managers but feel he should go a hell of a lot further and really back the youth p,Ayress regardless of their club
      Oh well....win is a win when it comes to England.
