Shame. I want to see our youth system produce something, I thought he had the potential to make it here.

      Good luck, Paul.

He wasn't a Liverpool youth product, he came from Hull in exchange for John Welsh (who was suppose to be the new Gerrard)

Good luck to the guy and shame we won't see him in a Liverpool shirt

Shame to see him go but I reckon if he was close or had the potential to play for our first team Rafa woulsn't sell him. Good Luck Anderson.

      Just a Technical Point.

It's Nottm Forest, not Notts Forest, that's County.

      Forest boss seals Anderson deal

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has signed midfielder Paul Anderson from Liverpool on a three-year contract in a deal worth £250,000.
The 20-year-old winger, who spent last season on loan at the City Ground, becomes the Reds' third signing this week following the acquisitions of David McGoldrick from Southampton on Monday and Dele Adebola from Bristol City earlier on Tuesday

Anderson made 28 appearances for Forest last season after missing the early part of the campaign through injury.

He scored two league goals and impressed with his speedy performances and ability to operate on either flank

      WINGER COMPLETES FOREST TRANSFER
      Jimmy Rice 30 June 2009
Liverpool winger Paul Anderson today completed a transfer to Nottingham Forest.
The deal follows a season-long loan at the City Ground where he scored twice in 26 outings.

Rafa Benitez signed the 20-year-old from Hull in January 2006 and he was part of our Youth Cup winning side of that year.

Anderson has represented England U19s but leaves Liverpool without a senior appearance to his name.

However, despite moving to the Championship, the youngster has not given up on his Premier League dream.

He said: "Everyone's ambition is to play in the Premier League and play at the highest level possible but I think we're going to do that at this club.

"The ambition I've seen and the players I've seen at the club, there's no reason why in the next couple of years we can't be up in the Premiership."

I dont understand how we can sell a player with so much promise for only 250k whilst the other big teams around us sell their unknown players for 1mill + (like chris eagles last season). Why do we let our players go so cheaply? Are we just a feeder club or something? I guess we must be including some massive sell on fees to compensate!

      Unhappy!

Difference is Eagles played for Man Utds first team on a few occasions. Anderson never got close to ours.
