Best Thing To Have On Toast?
      Jun 12, 2009 11:18:54 pm
It's too late for a proper meal, so toast is the next best thing but what's the best thing to have on it?

Personally I'd go for white grated cheese.

Yeah, cheese for me too. A toastie is best though, cheese slice.

My favourite snack is beans on toast, with a sprinkling of grated cheese and popped under the grill to brown off, topped with some brown sauce.....yummy scrummy.   ;D

      Ahhh they were the days!

I'm on a big health trip now. The only thing I have on my toast is Flora. And believe me, it's not easy trying to eat an LFC reserve player on your toast!

I used to love primula cheese and ham, don't think they do it anymore do they?

Where do you get a Kelly Brook shaped toaster these days? Did you get that one from Narnia?  ;)  And anyway, get away from the Kelly. She's mine!

Someone from Bolivia might come on and say strained lentils or something.

That's the beauty of this forum.

Kenny. If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times. You cannot compare Daddies to HP. I'm sorry, but you just can't do it. I'm very passionate about this subject! The only brown sauce that can be compared to HP is Branston brown sauce. Remember when you were a kid and HP sauce burned your tongue? Well, they've watered it down now. When I was a kid we called HP sauce 'burny sauce' because it poured out of the bottle and burned your tongue. It was beautiful. Well, the Branston one tastes closer to that than HP does now.

And I STILL feel guilty eating it. I honestly do!

      Call me old fashioned...

We will never agree on this.

HP is bland to me. Always has been. You're trying to justify HP to a person who used to drink vinegar out the bottle and has to be stopped from kidnapping pickles from the shelves of supermarkets.

Daddies just has that little bit more of spice and enthusiasm about it. And it doesn't have big F***ing ben on the front of the bottle!!

Two sausages, a fried egg, some brown sauce (Tesco own label) and then another piece of toast on top.
