Although this may sound really strange, I always found FIFA games too... perfect. The players all move so quickly, the ball sticks to a players feet all the time, you don't get the level of ball control you do with PES. After seeing those graphics, and hearing about the changes to the ML, there's only one football (playing) game I'm going to be buying this year.

pes has always had more realistic gameplay. and for me the the latest version has even deeper gameplay.

it is online play that gives fifa some advantage. but as for liscening and the rest, irrelevant imo.

I really can't get past the licensing issues with PES. Screenshots are always made to look better than the actual gameplay. I will download the demo just to see just how far it is behind Fifa.

About 25 new screenshots here, shows the new online modes, Champions league online,International cup online and Konami cup online.

More about the new tactics system and some nice pictures of Stevie and Puyol leading their team out of the tunnel.

PS3 owners will use the new 360 degree control system, Keepers have been changed and now throw the ball underarm too.

Loads of improvements been made by the looks of things, I'll be buying Pes this October :)

Fifa controls have become more like PES over the years though haven't they? I think with Football games alot of the time they'll have the same ideas.

PES 2010 Gameplay - GamesCom #2 - Full HD Quality with Sound

Video here which shows you the new tactic system, and a demo match between Liverpool and Barca. I've heard people say the game is only like 70% finished so far so the gameplay will probably see a couple of new things put in. I'm really impressed with the graphics myself, think it's the most realistic I've ever seen in a footie game, The players look amazing lining up before the match.

FIFA demo is out in a couple of days isn't it? Should have a go at that to see what you make of it. I'm looking forward to PES more than ever this year though. Loads of things added to it that I've been wanting for a while!

I still don't like the look of it. It's quite hard to explain why but I just don't like the gameplay, it's almost like you haven't got proper control of passing etc.

Fifa demo's out in a couple of days? Really? Quality.

      TORRES FRONT COVER REVEALED
      Jimmy Rice 09 September 2009

Video game giant Konami have released the front cover of the latest version of Pro Evolution Soccer featuring our very own Fernando Torres.
The company - one of LFC's official partners - have signed up our No.9 to appear alongside Barcelona ace Lionel Messi on PES 2010, which is released later this year.

Torres, who is known to be a keen game player, is following in the footsteps of stars such as Thierry Henry and John Terry by fronting the popular game.

PES 2010 will be available on PLAYSTATION3, Xbox 360, PC-DVD, PSP, PlayStation 2 and mobile phones from October 23.
