He'll probably be given one before the Atletico friendly like Nemeth, Spearing and Kelly were last season against Lazio.

I don't think we can afford to lose Dossena now, as Aurelio is out until Christmas.  It would surely be foolish to leave us thin on the left back position, but I know what's coming next "Agger can play there instead!"

No.  Agger WILL be first choice next to Carragher next season, I am absolutely sure of it.

He was given number 16 mate but he thought that was the number Rafa had ordered for him from the chinese. So when his new shirt arrived, all neatly packed in a box, he just ate it. ;)

well if dossena's going we're going to need another Left back, Insua cant play every game till Christmas, when aureillo comes back from getting injured by his kids, i mean come on, his kids!

unless of course we keep arbelola till xmas at least, he played LB for spain the other night, so could possibly rotate with Insua there till xmas.

Delighted the lad chose us over Chelsea . Was delighted when Chelsea made a bid as it gave the lad a decisiion to make , He had two choices - Go to Chelsea for the Mula or come to us for garunteed first team football . If he had of gone Chelsea we would have dodged a bullet but he's already gone up a little in my estimation . Just needs to stop giving the ball away as much and he'll be flying .

Isn't Gerrard coming back a bit later because he was with England? Or is that for different reasons?

If so then Johnson was with England too so he will be due back later. That's why his unveiling is being slightly delayed I think.

With Glen Johnson already signed from Portsmouth in a club record deal for a defender, the Reds boss has clearly earmarked Liverpool’s full-back positions as areas which can be improved.

Johnson was today undertaking his first day of training as a Liverpool player as he and fellow England international Steven Gerrard joined in with their team mates at Melwood.
