Johnson is the best attacking right back in the Premiership and was our best attacking outlet at times last season, why exactly don't we need him. Kelly has worse injury problems than Johnson

If Johnson gets properly fit and could defend at RB how he defended at LB last year, we'd be unstoppable.

I think he's defensively better than Kelly but not Enrique. He's the type of right back that can cope with the likes of, Bale, Walcott, Lennon etc with ease.

Offensively, I feel he can be better than Enrique if he releases the ball earlier instead of holding on to the ball or trying to dribble past players.

Really excited to see him return fully match fit.

Well, we have played our best defence for the first time this season, so I am not really surprised by the performance of our fullbacks.

I agree mate that is the first choice defence for me

Johnson has awlays been class since he has been here.His injuries haven't helped him but now he has got really good cover from 3 basically central midfielders he can get forward more without worrying about getting caughtout. We need him in the final third being able to attack down both flanks is so important and we have two fantastic wing backs now in Enrique and Johnson wouldn't swpa them for anyone.
Everytime he was under pressure today he had henderson right by his side supporting him.

was very good, but a game that suits him, they offered little going forward which allowed him to get forward.. lucas reads his runs very well though, and enriques and you see him edge to full back when they break.. if anything comes that way he is only a short burst from covering

jonno was good though yesterday.. him and kelly/flanno have our rb area covered for the next decade

As you are aware, I'm a big fan of Johnson and he would be my first choice but I find it strange that you use this criteria to support your argument.
