Aye seen that the other day on Spotify. Haven't got round to listening to it yet but I'm not a massive James fan, there's only a handful of their songs I really like.

The Boss played this in his set the other night along with a fair few from this album.

Sounded great live and had it on in the car today

Apparently first wrote this about 50 years ago.

That and Song for Orphans are absolute screamers. Inspired decision by Bruce to dig them from the demo tapes and re-record them with that classic E Street sound. The production on those first three E Street Band albums of the 21st century (The Rising, Magic and Working on a Dream) were a lot cleaner and shinier. But they missed the clatter and vivacity of his E Street albums from Born in the USA and before. Letter To You really brought it back to the feeling of Bruce and the E Street all in the same room, all having a blast. And all thanks to Stevie van Zandt who told him to go back to recording as a full unit together.

If it was his last ever album with E Street (he's said nothing either way I believe) it would be a fitting finale.
