To me, Dunkirk was an extension of the concepts behind the soundtrack from TDK.
Zimmer and Nolan pushing the minimalism or pointillism from soundtrack to movie.
The long moments of silence leading to powerful scenes.
Aligned with single musical notes strung out.
I loved it, but then I'm a massive Nolan and Zimmer fan.

Nolan & Zimmer should have done Justice League...

Watched Dunkirk on 3 occasions & every time you are drawn into the scenes that don't have much dialogue through the soundtrack...The whole movie is intense, reminded me of Interstellar where the soundtrack did the talking & the silent space scenes...

I thought it was poor as well when I seen it on release and had high hopes after The Force Awakens.

Unforgiven is a masterpiece although best Western in my view is Once Upon A Time In The West.
Thought TLJ was absolute bilge but enjoyed TFA & loved RO,  as a westerns go I would Add Tombstone to the  list of classic westerns.

That's a good shout actually.  Tombstone while a little self-indulgent, was probably one of Val Kilmer's best performances. Loved him as Doc Holiday.

This has apparently debuted to massive standing ovations and some brilliant first impressions from Cannes. Equally funny and harsh commentary on the current climate, they say. Going by the trailer below, I can't F***ing wait.

'Ballers' fans will certainly recognise John David Washington, but for those who don't know - Denzel's kid. Looking like he could have a damn fine career ahead of him as well.

You weren't wrong mate,me & a few mates had a real blast with it,thought it was hilarious and as you mentioned
It was funnier than the first.
Thought josh brolin as cable had some of the best lines in the film & some of the cameos in the mansion had me in stitches as did the post credit scenes which had me crying with laughter,I believe the post credit scene was actually cut for being to gruesome so I hope we get a directors cut when it is released on disc.
Tought domino was brilliant too & look forward to seeing her in the new X-Force film.
Absolute hoot of a film & plan on seeing it again at some point.

      Watched Molly's Game.

I'm a huge Aaron Sorkin fan but found this to be very average.

Not bad, not great and all just a bit run of the mill.
