If Real Madrid were to get their targets

Kaka, Ronaldo, Ribery and Benzema. What the F**k are they going to do when Real are out of possesion? Who's going to do the donkey work in the middle? Arbeloa is the only defender they are properly following. Do they expect him to all the defending? If so they are fu**ed!

Barca will win La Liga and an english club will win the Champions League. Then what will Real do? Buy more glory hunting mid fielders! Probably another manager as well. Expect the usual Rafa links to Real this year again!

I don't know where they are getting the funds for these players. Ronaldo on his own made sense because the ammount of shirts sold would raise about 50% of his fee. But four of these players? Do they expect people to buy four different shirts?

Still great to see all Uniteds targets rejecting them!

Then Madrid have probably ruined Fergie's summer!

Thats my thoughts exactly as long as we dont sell to them ,all of Fergusons target seem to be going away from him.At the end of the day they can only play 11 and dont play in the premier league so who cares.

Can maybe switch Robben for Ribery as well since he's come out and said he wants to join them.

Bayern don't want to sell, yet, but I think they might for the right price.

If Ribery goes to them too, particularly attacking wise, is there a better side in the world on paper?

If they get the players to gel they are going to be some side attacking, maybe a little poorer at the back then again Barca won La Liga and UCL on their attack qualities.

As  much as Rául is a Madrid legend I feel that Higuain, Huntelaar and if he moves Villa would start before him.

If Ribery goes to them too, particularly attacking wise, is there a better side in the world on paper?

I still think the Spain team is the best attacking team on paper! Iniesta, Xavi, Silva, Alonso, Torres and Villa. More honest, hard working players as well.

Perez will spend spend spend.. Madrid were vastly over shadowed by Barca last year and will seemingly stop at nothing to bring some success back to the Bernabeu. Raul Albiol, Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema already.. with a possibility of Arbeloa, Alonso and Ribery to follow. It seem to me however that Madrid are trying to do things a little bit to quickly. I would expect Madrid to be a top force in 2-3 seasons time. Hopefully by then though we will have developed into an unstoppable force

I wouldn't be too worried about Madrid even if they did sort out there defnce as well. No matter how powerful a team they become we would only meet them in the Champions League and over two legs, we can beat anyone.

eh ... next season Madrid are going to have 9 forwards + Casillas and Ramos and have everyone else on the bench !

Just announced on SSN they've officially signed Albiol.

Need a playmaker to spread things and keep things chilled in the middle, hence why they go for Alonso. Need defenders who can actually defend, haven't heard them linked with many because lets face it defenders aren't the 'glamorous' players. I hope Barca batter the league next season and run away with it!

Yeah whats point having world beaters in midfield and up front. Massive gamble to take paying out like that not knowing how they`d gel together.
After 4-0 at Anfield it should have been a quality defender that would have been their 1st purchase.

Its a great team no doubt.
But we will beat them in CL again, in fact we wont quite embaress them again, just beat them next time.

I reckon Champions league second faves

1. Barca
2. Madrid
3. Liverpool
4. Chelsea

I think Madrid will struggle to get the players to gel to be honest regardless of how many 1st choice targets they get. Straight away ronaldo will throw his toys out the pram for not having number 7.

A quick analysis
Goalkeeper :
Casillas is arguably the best in the world so this is a good position for them. But he still needs protection if they want to win anything.

Defense :
Ramos / Pepe - Albiol / Marcelo. This is the most likely setup because I believe their tactic will be to score more than the opponent.
The problem here is that they have no back-up at all.

Midfield :
Diarra - Having only joined in the winter, he made the SkySports team on the season, and I think he will be very important to them.

And now the problems begin.
How to fit the rest of the players.
Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema and even Raul command a starting position, in their favorite position.
So there remanin 1 extra place in the starting 11.
They hope it's going to be Alonso They need a playmaker. They could use Kaka, but it would be a waste.

Also, as Ronaldo is a winger, they need another winger to mirror him on the other side.
There is just no room in this team for players.

I bet they're going to struggle, at least in the start of the season, and it's going to cost the the title.
