Carra to return against Pompey or Porto!

I was delighted to hear today that rafa has confirmed that carra will be back in 12 /15 days

That is excellent news, because we can't go without him for too long. 

Tell you something that is a quick recovery for a broken rib. It amazes me the recovery rates of some players these days, its more than likely the better medical knowledge and money thats involved in the game that forces such recovery rates. I wonder what sort of long term effects such short term recovery effects have on players. I remember when shrek was put in an tank ( best place for him) before England went to the world cup and all hype that went with it. Forcing the human body to recover quicker than what mother nature intended might be something that has to be debated in the future. However its good news for us two top players injured in the early part of the season which is better than later on. Have to say though I will be glad when JC is back and glad he is on the mend even though that seems damn quick...

Great news as long as he is fully recovered though he's too important for us to have him risk a further injury as is Gerrard.

Good point.  Absolutely no need to risk rushing him back the way we are playing.

I think Sami Hyypia and Agger can endure the centre-back a bit longer, broken rib is no joke, I think Carrager can return in the match with FCPorto but not in the match wih Portsmouth, boss Rafa Benitez won't risk him, I'm glad that Carrager refused McLaren's invitation now.
But I hope Gerrard will return in the match with Portsmouth, It's not an easy match. (Even thought I said that, Arsenal had such an easy match today, 10 mens, 3-1 at Emirates stadium, I wonder if LiverpoolFC can do better)

I have said before, I think portsmouth  ( with 11men) will be more of a handfull at Anfield as they will probably sit back and hope to catch us on the break while at thiers, they will probably be more attacking which will open up the game a bit. That will suit us better. I think we can handle that without Carra but we will need Stevie for  sure.

Whether teams want to sit back (Derby), try stopping us playing (Sunderland) or try and attack us (Villa) I don't care anymore.
