Star Liverpool player Steven Gerrard will not play in the Reds' friendly match against Thailand on Wednesday evening.
Gerrard has remained in England to fight an affray charge at Liverpool Crown Court, with the rest of the squad due to arrive in Bangkok this afternoon.
Xavi Alonso will feature, despite his looming move to Real Madrid, and he will take part in a promiotional event in front of CentralWorld tomorrow along with Dirk Kuyt and Albert Riera.
There will also be a football clinic at Chulalongkorn stadium for 100 junior players. Both events take place at 1pm.
Thailand coach Peter Reid said he is looking forward to Wednesday's match at Rajamangala stadium.
"We are playing one of the best teams in the world and it's going to be great experience for the players," said Reid.
"We're going out there to win it. We don't go into any game thinking we'll lose.
"We have to make it high tempo and we need to shut them down.
"It will be seriously tough but we're pushing for a big performance."
There will be a press conference this evening at the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel.
