How embarrassing. If there’s one way to undo all the hard work and graft you’ve done to win the league...that is it.

Lots of claims that this is the 'greatest top division side of them all'. What a load of nonsense. You need to have won the European Cup alongside the league to deserve that accolade.

As hard as it is to admit, the Man Utd side from 10 years ago when they won both was a much better side. Far more rounded from defence to attack and rich in experience with players playing right in their prime. And they had a wealth of British players to draw from with Ronaldo and Tevez adding a bit of foreign flair and bite around that core. Also, those players actually chose to play for Man Utd because of that club's stature and history unlike the current Man City cabal who are only there because of the wages.

Check out the Guardian's cartoon today lampooning that ultra-cheesy "celebration" video. The frame with Paul Pogba in it is worth the effort by itself.

So incredible that even The Daily Telegraph has found some wit in it's cobwebbed offices for it who have gone through the video scene by scene and discovered City fans celebrating in the pub...with the usual small bowl of curly fries and two glasses of water (none for the man on the far left - he's driving)

Wow wouldn’t ever wish an injury on any player but this can’t be bad. Despite the depth and quality they have, I’d certainly rather face them without De Bruyne.

They have the quality in depth to carry on regardless.

Ha heard that before. Remember when he was stretchered off last season(?) after a horrific challenge and it looked like he would be out for a while....played again a couple of days later!

If true then I feel bad for him but good for us. He is a very important key player for them, kind of similar to how important Mo is for us, sure we can both carry on without them but you lose that special magic ingredient.

Also if we were to go on and nick the title from them wecwouldnt get credit wed be told how missing de Bruyne cost city.

In short I want to win it by being better then their best

Theyve got a pretty favourible run of games so I still can't see them dropping too many points even without him.

I agree, it couldn't have happened at a better time, what a start to the season it is for them, dream fixtures, but how is their run in, because ours is very nice I think.

Expect them to win every game until they play us with/out De Bruyne.  He didn't start the Arsenal game or didn't play in the Community Shield and they won both (tough) games fairly easily.

Not a bad thing for us but won't have too much impact on their results, I don't think.

Last time they missed KDB they struggled quite a bit. He is their best player. Our chances to win the title just increased further.

I don't think any team can have a "favourable run of games" or a nice "run in", not in this league, you start thinking like that as a team (which Klopp won't let them do) and it will come back to bite ya in the ass, it's one thing if not many we have all learnt over the years.
