Some may say poetic justice after all Horners moaning that they now have to take a penalty with a cracked engine due to the crash at Silverstone.

With rain now forecast I just don't know what to expect at the beginning  Temperatures significantly lower too. If drivers not forced to go on wets ( pending conditions before the start ) I still think Max on the better tyre temporary.

One of the most exciting starts I can ever remember watching F1 racing.

No surprises with start if I'm being honest. Thank Christ it was in Hammys favour but not the way you like to win races. Hopefully Verstappen can re start.

Not 100% sure he would have been able to overtake both Ocon and Vettel. At the end of the day, it's a decent result for him after Mercedes insane F**k up.

Amazing race. Ocon and Vettel really were faultless up front. Lewis tremendous to storm his way back to third. Deserved championship lead. Alonso outstanding in his defensive driving against Lewis. Wonderful seeing those two legends battling it out like that!

That was entertaining.. Ocon faultless, Vettel superb, Hamilton as expected…

I'm pretty sure really as they were never going away from Hammy, he was always closing and had enough to laps to pass. Never mind, it's all ifs and buts.

Me too, he had the pace. I still don't like Alonso due to his dirty tactics when he was team mate of Hammy. Pretty sure theirs still bad blood between them dispite the respect they have for each other. Alonso knew Hammy had to 100% sure before passing, glad the pressure got to Alonso though.

I really dislike Alonso as well, but to be fair he's entitled to defend his position. At worst, by delaying Lewis he's also defending his teammate's lead.

Both Williams in the points though! I'm loving this!  Russell also showing Toto Wolff he can be a team player by offering to compromise his own race to help Latifi.

Won the race for Alpine that bit of driving by Fernando. My only regret with the Alpine victory is... it wasn't Fernando himself! Would have loved to see him back on the top step.

As for those in the crowd booing Lewis (probably coming from the large contingent of weirdo Max fans in their orange caps)  they can go F**k themselves.

Horner has always been a tw*t. He likes to project a 'nice guy' persona, but he's ruthless. That makes him very good at his job, but not someone I'd enjoy spending time with. It's also not the first time he's shown himself to be a sore loser.

After the initial f**k up, a good recovery from Mercedes and Hamilton. The undercut on Verstappen and Riccardo was massive, if they didn't do that it would be a complete shocker of a day for them.

Brilliant from Ocon and Vettel but what a drive from Alonso though! Won the race for Ocon with how well he held up Hamilton.

If you follow F1 you'll know he did. He's definitely got a touch of long covid which will suit you being a Hammy hater..  Can you not stick to FSG thread without also being negative on F1 which you clearly don't follow so just want to get bites out of us...
