Yeah, but if it was King Kenny making these kinds of points we'd all be agreeing with him wouldn't we.

King Kenny is a class act who knows what he's talking about, and would only say something like that if he thought it were true, but it isn't. Unlike this arse. Is he still on the Sky Sports payroll? Hopefully Thommo doesn't come away from there talking sh*t as well.

      The club is going backwards?

      What, after four F***ing games?

Rafa spends years taking us forward, getting us as close as we've been, then in a heartbeat, we're useless again.

United are hardly playing well either, and fluked the points against Arsenal.

Yeah your right Dalglish would never come out with that but he is the exception. My point is that ex-players are entitled to their views even when we don't agree with them. What Spackman said was hardly a hanging offence. We're not talking about a Liverpool legend here but some of the comments are over the top.

      Its still early days, man.

Rome is not build in one day, or month (Aug-09). Whats the panic. Let it runs and we'll see what happen.

Its still a long season ahead.

He sees only what he wants to see, '' the buck stops with the manager, he's had a lot of money to spend and the club are going backward''. Does the little sh*te know or even care whats gone on at Anfield, if he does his quote shows no understanding at all. All the good work that Rafa has done here, and it's totally dismissed by Spackman, as for his spending that really shows us how out of touch that Spackman is...

Trouble is some of these ex players are a little bit sucked in buy the media machine because they are paid by those papers to write this stuff. Its not the kicking of a ball that they make their living buy any more its the writing or so called lack of intelligent writing for a better word that actually makes them a crust. We are under pressure from the start because of lets face it a lot of back scene bull-shi-0t with the owners, but having said that the players we have in the squad should be more than proffesional enough to put things behind them and concentrate on the field of play rather than whats going on in the boardroom. Unfortunately I have to say Spackman does have a point when he says that the for some of the loses the managers decsions have been wrong, hell Rafa is a human being who makes mistakes like everyone else, its part of being a human being, and unfortunately the media including the press and those ex players who have critised Rafa will not leave him alone until he has won the premiership, then they may adhere to the respect train like all the media do toward Wenga and Ferguson. Unfortunaely Rafa does need to hark on his own words at this point in time, we hear week in week out from his own mouth that in order to get results "we need to work hard and improve" this is also true of the manager himself and that improvement must come from changing defensive tactics, especially on set peices. However having said that I support Rafa 100% and although some of the ex-players can critisise and have an opion of which they are entitled, they should also have the manners to show some respect to a man who has done what a lot of managers and players have not with this club. But having said that a lot of stuff written by some players is often scrutinised by their editors with even some stuff being omitted from certain articles because its not "contreversial enough" or doesnt make good reading because its not negative enough to make interesting reading.l

Don't see how everyone is up Chelsea's arse already. They haven't played anyone challenging yet.

Chelsea have played Hull, Sunderland, Fulham and Burnley why the f'ck is every raving about them, they looked better at the start of last season under Scolairi until we put an end to that.

Let the press and media keep at us (and that includes some ex-players). This article is just nonsense, yes we are all gutted about losing the first two from three and being six points behind leaders but f*ck me....over reaction or what??? The fact he stated "If Liverpool lose to Bolton" says it all for me.

Saying that...I quite like it when these people start slagging us off....we tend to get that underdog seige mentallity and more often than not, prove the majority of the press and media wrong.
