England Vs Holland 12/08/09 kick off 1945

Emile Heskey and David Beckham have been named in the England line-up to face Holland in Amsterdam.

Despite suffering from a nagging Achilles heel complaint Heskey has been given the nod by Fabio Capello to start alongside Wayne Rooney, ahead of Carlton Cole, while Beckham will win his 113th cap against the Dutch in preference to Theo Walcott, who has a thigh strain. Our very own Glen Johnson is in the starting line up.

Nice one Dirk, he's been on fire for Oranje recently. I think van Marwijk prefers him over Huntelaar because Dirk can switch positions with van Persie, while Huntelaar is more limited to the box. Very happy with that choice! I know most members are English here, but I'm Dutch so Hup!

England came on pretty well in the second half, though I don't like to say it Johnson had a average game while Babel was ripping him up easily. I guess the main positive from our point of view is Kuyt, Babel or Johnson survived the game without harm

  Johnson had a very mediocre game, not making big mistakes like Ferdinand and Barry, but still disappointing and quiet 

He's saving his best for Sunday

Yes no injuries thats the main thing but i thought Babel looked sharp though.

Was not far of my prediction, 1 goal in it ....., Good to see all the lads come through unscathed thats the main thing and more preparation for them going into the game on Sunday.
