Did download the demo but it's quite hard to get into it when you know you've only got a limited time on it. Putting effort into your team seems a bit pointless, does seem very complicated though, take a while to get used to the new tactics system, and the shouting from the touchline idea seems complicated.

Happy Torres' stats are more realistic now, can actually head the ball!

I've been playing this for the last couple of hours and I've got to say it's much better than 09, the gameplay runs alot smoother and the stadiums look better aswell, I'm also finding loaning to be alot better as the club tells you what they are looking for fee wise. It looks like they fixed when signing prospects your fans don't expect them to be playing resulting on them being considered a poor signing that was one thing that would annoy the crap out of me on 09 and I also like the backroom staff advice.

I think the best thing though is our very own King Kenny is a scout on the game. ;D

Not a fan of how you don't get the full transfer fee for sold players
      Started with 2.6mil, sold Dossena for 4.7, i have 5mil now :(
Selling Voronin for 2.5, so will probably get 1mil from that :/, its good  but not a fan of finance s*it

Oh and, you only get 65% of the transfer fee. So, yeah, awwwwesome!

Hang on a minute but why is this the case? How'd you find out about this anyway?

The return on the transfer fee depends on the club. Clubs with a loan repayment usually have a system in place where you only receive a portion of the sale. Go to 'Finances' and it says in the top box of the finance screen the % you receive on each sale.

On Liverpool i got 65%. For City i got 100%.

Bit annoying that. I'd calculated my sums perfectly to get Van Der Vaart, Suazo and Van Nistelrooy in for Lucas and Voronin and the 65% thing fu**ed it all up.

Doing alright though, won all my pre season games and I thrashed Villa 7-1 with Torres and Suazo getting hat tricks. ;D

I loaned VDV. Not much for that and got a quality CM/CAM for chips considering the game only goes for 6 months or something.

Just a few little criticisms but may well just be the fact that I have the vanilla demo.

      1. No shortlists page or at least I can't find one either way it's a problem.
      2. When you offer a player exchange and click on other I can't see the button when viewing the player profile (I'd say this one is pretty likely a demo thing).
      3. When making an offer on a player the clubs appear to take no notice of additional fees for example I offered 8mil plus 20 mil after 10 league goals for Benoit Cheyrou (I wasn't really going to pay that much) and Marseille rejected (again likely a demo thing).

      I'd give you a + if I could. ;)

I've played just the one league game a 1-1 draw with Villa, I've bought in RVN and VDV on loan and signed a youngster called Scott Muggleton. I'm not going to keep this save game so I'm just really working out how to play this one properly.

Been looking for a few things to improve on already :P
      1. I'd love to see what CM have done with the training stuff, its pure class - You watch them train and do drills, e.g penalties, sprints, crossing and shooting, so yeh that would be class
      2. In the matches, with the crowd, which ive previously said is quality, there are no barriers in front of the crowd so that would be a point to improve within matches, oh and another thing I reckon will certainly happen in the next year or so is that teams actually have their own stadiums not just a general one for each side

Not much else I can think of :D as all in all its a top game, and this is just the demo ;)
